Arugula - Esmee - OP
3-4 plants per plug. Beautiful, fine leaves are incised with rounded oak-leaf shape. A wonderful flavor that is more nutty than spicy sets Esmee apart from other arugulas. Deeply lobed leaves are upright and lofty. Quick growing and very cold tolerant.

Beet - Rhonda - F1 Hybrid
Excellent storage beet with sweet flavor. Tuck Rhonda F1 away all winter and beets will still be hard and sound come spring. Round, deep red roots and nice strong tops. Also good to eat fresh from the garden during the growing season.

Beets - Detroit Dark Red - OP
Top notch heirloom variety, well-known for high-quality roots. Tops are strong. Uniform, 3" round roots store well and are excellent for fresh eating or canning. First developed by a Mr. Reeves of Port Hope, Ontario, Canada and further selected for improvements by D.M. Ferry & Co., who officially released it in 1892 as Detroit Dark Red.

Broccoli - Belstar - F1
A versatile broccoli with excellent heat and cold tolerance and uniform, rounded heads. Great choice for spring, summer and fall plantings with excellent vigor. Plants are compact and produce small to medium-sized heads within a 10-14-day harvest window. Domes span 6-8" and average 1.5 lbs. Excellent side shoot production as well.

Broccoli - Happy Rich - F1
This is one of our favorite varieties. With enough fertilizer we are able to harvest the florets all summer long until it freezes in the fall. Uniform, vigorous, dark green plants produce jumbo-size florets that resemble mini heads of broccoli, and have an excellent, sweet, broccoli flavor. This sprouting broccoli produces ample amounts of side shoots when plants are spaced 18" apart.

Early forming bulbs are white, tender and ideal for fresh eating. The white bulbs have a thin, supple skin that makes them delicious in salads and slaws. Bulbs are globe shaped and the plants are highly resistant to bolting as the temperatures begin to climb.

These heads put on excellent weight for a red variety while remaining compact and upright. Their open-heading habit enables strong tipburn tolerance. Beautiful contrast of purplish coloration at leaf tips and deep, yet bright green color at the base. Leaves are semi-savoy and scalloped, lending to their nice texture and appearance.

Grown on the International Space Station in 2015!

3-4 plants per plug. Medium-sized hard round bulbs with very attractive reddish/gold tinting. Continuously selected for vigor, size, storability, disease and insect resistance. A great open-pollinated variety from breeder David Podoll, Dakota Tears was honored as one of Organic Gardening magazine's ten outstanding varieties in their 2010 trials.

Pea Shelling – Laxtons Progress #9 – (Heirloom)
4-5 plants per pot. Short vines and plump pods filled with high quality peas. Small 15-20" plants produce heavy yields of large pods with up to nine peas per pod (hence the name). An improvement over the original Laxton's Progress with a high resistance to wilt.
